Jacob's 2nd Birthday

To celebrate the little man's birthday we went with Mimi to the aquarium (thanks Grandpa!) and had lots of fun. It was a special day where children could wear their Halloween costumes so naturally the clan gladly joined in, except for Jacob of course. We topped the day off with lunch at The Varsity which is, in Ana's words, "so cool!"

Pumpkin Festival

I'm really behind on posting so forgive me...but here are the kids at the pumpkin festival we went to ALL the way out in Watkinsville. I think we could have stayed the night in Athens we were so far from home:) Jacob's favorite part was the pig race. I think he would have jumped in there with them if he could have.

Happy 4th!

We spent the morning at the park enjoying some beautiful mild weather and the afternoon at the pool of course. Maddy can swing by herself now, Jacob is toddling everwhere as fast as he can go, Gabby is watching out for her little brother, and Ana is practicing her underwater handstands.

We are definitely thankful to God for our independence today and everyday!

The kids are growing so fast...Maddy is so happy her hair is getting longer and I curled it for her today.

The twins had their first year at VBS and loved it! They especially love their tie-dyed pink tshirts which have since dyed Jacob's pajamas pink in the washing machine:)

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter from Lawrenceville! We went to church this morning and when we came back the kids discovered that the Easter bunny had visited! We took this picture on the front porch after Jacob was bitten by ants on the front lawn. He recovered quickly, however, with a little chocolate therapy:)

Valentine's Day Party

We had Becca over today for some early Valentine fun. The girls made valentines and had tea. I think Gabby was the most excited about the party...she has been talking about it every day for the last week. And yes, Jacob slept through the whole thing:)

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...

It snowed in Atlanta today!! Carl and Ana went to Snow Mountain to enjoy the manmade snow festival. They tried out snow shoes, went snow tubing, got soaking wet, ate smores, and rode to the top of Stone Mountain. This was Ana's birthday present from Grandpa and Omi...snow from Wisconsin:)

Ana is 7!

Ana celebrated her birthday yesterday with a movie and a trip to the bookstore. It was a special Mom and me day...we saw "Hotel for Dogs" and Ana was able to choose a nice stack of new books at Barnes & Noble thanks to her Mimi:) We had McDonald's for dinner (Ana's choice of restaurant) and chocolate cake for dessert. Ana said it was one of her best days ever...life is pretty good at 7 years old:)
